GIRLS TALK are conversations dealing with manipulation and sexuality using phrases snipped and pasted from women's periodicals. The conversational cut outs mined from articles and advertisements, have been left as is, backgrounds in tact, to convey context.
Many word bubbles have full quotations while others have been re-arranged to create engaging conversational scenarios while staying true to the overall pervasive messages found in cultural media.
Some conversations reinforce sociological stereotypes of women while others challenge those stereotypes flipping sexual repartee, usually associated with men, on it's head.
